At Y Learn and Swim, we’re proud to offer the nationally recognised Swimming Lessons with the Y program.

Our teachers are all nationally accredited and their approach aims to ensure that your child is supported to be comfortable and safe around water and develop confident swimming skills.

Our 17m indoor pool is heated to an ideal temperature of 32 degrees all year round.

The centre will not be open on Victorian Public Holidays.

Cost: $22.50 per week – 30 minute lessons.
(paid fortnightly via direct debit)

To enrol your child in swimming lessons at Y Learn and Swim:

1. Find your child’s level using the Swim Level Calculator

Follow the “ENROL” link to the Y Learn and Swim
Parent Portal
3.
Choose your class day and time based
on the level for your child
4.
Create an Account and confirm
5.
  Follow the prompts to submit your choice and add to your cart
6. Confirm and complete payment details

Infant (6 months - 3 years)

Starfish / Periwinkle / Minnow

Introduce your little one to the water in the safe surrounds of an Infants’ class. Available to babies as young as six months, this class is ideal for any parent who wants their baby or toddler to learn to swim early and gain water safety skills for life.

The program will provide education for parent/carers about aquatic environments, swimming and water safety.

Preschool (3 - 5 years)

Tadpole

Our beginner Preschool level, where swimmers will learn water safety and familiarisation, buoyancy and floatation, body position and rotation, and build confidence around water.

Goldfish

Swimmers will consolidate foundational swimming techniques and continue to work of propulsion and safety skills.

Flying Fish

Swimmers will be introduced to basic stroke techniques.

School Age (5 years and above)

Octopus

Our beginner School aged level, where swimmers will learn water safety and familiarisation, buoyancy and floatation, body position and rotation, and build confidence around water.

Sardine

Swimmers will consolidate foundational swimming techniques and continue to work of propulsion and safety skills.

Turtle

Swimmers will be introduced to basic stroke techniques.

Salmon

Swimmers will work on consolidating basic stroke techniques. As well as learning advanced survival strokes.

Tuna

Swimmers will continue to develop stroke techniques, and work on extending distance swims. Swimmers will also be introduced to advanced stroke techniques.

Dolphin

Swimmers with continue to develop advanced strokes, working on full stroke techniques. 

Shark

Our advanced School aged level, where swimmers will work to consolidate advanced stroke techniques with stroke corrections. Swimmers will also be introduced to competition skills.

What happens after I've enrolled?

Once you have created an account, you’ll receive an email with your details and information on how to download the Parent Portal App. The button below will also take you through to the Parent Portal, where you can check your child’s enrolment.
